Monday Morning Funnies.

If every Monday morning was this fun, the week would go by so much better. I had a very exciting train ride in to DC today where I was literally laughing out loud. Then I get a text message from my best friend that makes things even better to the point where, I think people are looking at me strange. Then, because I'm already in a silly mood, I see something on my walk to the Metro that just sends me over the edge laughing.

This did not start out funny at all. Actually it was quite the opposite. I was pissed. This older guy (easily 60+ years old, with this "slow" speech pattern) sitting in the seat in front of me takes a phone call. No problem, right? Wrong, he is LOUD! Ok fine, sounds like this will be a short call, just wait it out. WRONG again. You can tell by the responses this guy is giving that whoever is on the other end wants to end this conversation but he wont let them. He keeps the dialog going with these stupid remarks. So not only is he loud but you can tell this is not gonna end anytime soon. All I can say is thank goodness for dead spots because we hit one and it ended his call. So I thought. As soon as we got to the next stop he called the person back and this is what I heard and I quote,
"Why did you hang up on me?"
pause...
"I ain't in no tunnel. The only tunnel
I've been in in the last 20 years is yours!"
...
OMG..did he just say that!?!?

OMG~You dirty ol' man...LMAO! I tried so hard to control myself but I failed miserably. Especially after I looked around to see the faces of my fellow riders and they too were in just as much sock as I was. Of course I get on the phone texted my lil brother, BFF and her lil sister. That gave me an out to laugh out loud without being looked at too funny. And laugh I did.

Just as, I get part of my composure back...I get a text message from my best friend. It the cutest lil pic of her daughter standing at the bus stop for the first day of school. LOVE IT!

Here is the message that came with the photo:
She was standing at the bus stop and bug said mommy I'm really gassy! LMAO. She's gonna have a great first day!
ROFLMAO...gotta love their innocence. I cant wait until she starts dating and we discuss her first day of 3rd grade with her date...ROFLMAO.

The whole morning was a giggle fest and it did not seem to be letting up because when I got off the Marc train and was making my way to the Metro, I saw this guy and his "pretty walk" and outfit caught my attention. He is wearing some black Khaki type fitting shorts, he has this black and gold Dennis Rodman hair do, and wearing a t-Shirt very similar to this, but in black:

As my BFF lil sister said..."no false advertisement there".
ROFLMAO!

I hope the rest of the week goes a well as today!
