About Me

Hello World...

Carmen here. A 30-something year-old mother of one teenage girl and a dog.

I enjoying doing so much; photography, scrapbooking, rubber stamping, paper crafts, little crochet here and there, a bit of sewing, reading, traveling, gardening, minor construction (I mostly like the demolition part), beading, jewelry making, and the list continues.  This results in me being the "Jack-of-All-Trades and Master-of-NONE!" I just don't have the attention span time to master them all.

I graduated from high school in MD, got my Associates in Computer Programming, currently working for the government and counting down the years until I can retire. Don't get me wrong, I'm not rushing life, I'm just a little tired of the 9-5 Mon-Fri. I have been working since I was 15. I just would like to sit back for and just do what I want for a bit. Catch up on my scrapbooking, learn how to knit, travel without worrying about returning home to go to work just because I have a deadline to meet. I see others who have retired and they look better now then they did before. The bags under theirs eyes gone, there is a spring in there step and overall they just seem calmer and carefree....I like calm and carefree and my step could use a little more bounce.

Until then, I just live one day at a time. Loving life, loving my baby girl and not stressing over the small stuff. I have learned to pick my battles carefully. I may fuss about it, but I am too blessed to be stressed.
